Part III

A Peacemaker, a Christian Reconciler: carries the burdens of others.
Galatians 6:2 (NIV) 2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

Peacemaker Thought #1: If you are stuck and unable to reconcile with one another bear the other person’s burden.

A Peacemaker, a Christian Reconciler: honors.
Romans 12:10 (NIV) 10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.

Peacemaker Thought #2: If you are stuck and unable to reconcile with one another find creative ways to love and honor the other person above yourself.

A Peacemaker, a Christian Reconciler: teaches.
Colossians 3:16 (NIV) 16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.

Peacemaker Thought #3: If you are stuck and unable to reconcile with each other let God’s word dwell among you.

A Peacemaker, a Christian Reconciler: tells the truth.
Colossians 3:9 (NIV) 9 Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices.

Peacemaker Thought #4: If you are stuck and unable to reconcile with one another make sure you are speaking the truth to each other; and ensure the truth is always delivered in love.

I hope you were blessed by this biblical reconciliation resource - Let's go out and be Christian Reconcilers and Peacemakers who make peace.

Blessings
